It seems John Favreau enjoyed working with Sir Ben on Iron Man 3, so much so that he's got the 70 year old to voice Bagheera in the Disney live-action remake of the 1967 classic.
For those of you that may have been living under a rock your whole lives The Jungle Book follows follows Rudyard Kipling’s tale of Mowgli, the young human abandoned in the jungle and raised by wolves. Bagheera is the loyal, powerful black panther who helps watch over the boy. Scarlett Johansson is already aboard to play the hypnotic snake Kaa, while Idris Elba is set to voice the tiger Shere Khan. Lupita Nyong’o is also in talks to be Rackcha, the wolf mother who finds and adopts Mowgli.
Justin Marks helms the script and the film should be shooting later this year.
