A while ago there where two separate parts to this film, one from "His" perspective focusing on James McAvoy's character Connor and the other from "Hers" perspective focusing on Jessica Chastain's character Eleanor.
The films have now been combined into a "Them" version and has been screened at this years Cannes Film Festival.
The film follows Connor (McAvoy) wooing Eleanor (Chastain) and their bright and consuming love and the tragedy that drives a wedge between them, resulting in Eleanor attempting suicide early in the film. They then have to pick up the pieces of their lives and their relationship.
The Disappearance Of Eleanor Rigby hits US cinemas on September 26, but has no UK date as of now.
