New concept art for the upcoming Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes has appeared online and shows how the creative minds behind the re-booted franchise developed the world for the new ape flick.
The exclusive images come from the the new book titled Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes and Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes: The Art Of The Films by Matt Hurwitz. Even though the title of the book is a bit of a mouthful it will detail the making of both films.
If you don't know what the new film is about here's a brief synopsis from 20th Century Fox: "A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth's dominant species."

The book will hit shelves on July 8. Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes hits UK screens on July 17.
